Our robotics team, the Moonshots, performed unbelievably well this year. As it was our second year competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition, we were simply hoping to improve upon last year’s showing. Instead, the team’s work carried them to the playoffs. There was an intense rush of engineering as we had to hone the robot’s performance during the competition. We had so much fun, finished in 13th out of 61, and proved ourselves as a competitive force in the region.
